How Does Skin Packs Work?

I have about settled on getting some form of supporter pack. Game is awesome. So then I thought, well, what would I do with all the currency points. I started looking over armor packs and such and notice there appears to be a "fee" to put armor skins on another piece of gear. Does this mean I have to pay the "fee" every time I find an upgrade to move the skin or are these packs just for end game geared characters where they won't expect to have to pay the "fee". Or am I seeing this wrong and there is no real fee for moving armor skins from one item to another?

Hi There,

Microtransaction effects you see on the shop are 1 time purchase that can be used an infinite number of times. They can only exist on 1 piece of gear at a time, but you can reclaim the effect off of the piece of gear that it's on, and then put it on a new piece of gear each time you upgrade or decide you'd rather use it on another piece of gear.

Hope this helps! If you have any further questions, you can always feel free to contact us at support@grindinggear.com
It does. Thx a lot. But, what does the transaction I was speaking about actually do then?

Edit: It's listed as Skin Transfer and has a couple of bundles associated with it.

The one called "Skin Transfer" is actually consumable, and is one-time use. That's why they come in packs. With everything else, you're buying a specific visual skin that you can only get from the cash shop, like the Infernal Armour, and you can reuse that as many times as you want. But with the Skin Transfer, you're taking the look of one in-game piece of gear and putting that on another one. This is frequently used with unique items that have their own 3D art.

Oh I see. I very much understand now. Thx for the info fellas. I was quite confused.
New question here. The Seraph wings that are on sale was something I wanted to get along with the Seraph armor pack. But I notice the wings attach to a body armor. So does a piece in the Seraph bundle. Can I attach both or is it one only?

You can attach both!

EDIT: Just to clarify, you can attach both the body armour mtx and the wing mtx onto the same body piece, or you can attach just the wing or just the body armour mtx (whichever you prefer).

If you make a donation to the company they might give you free skins to say thanks.
