How to get more mana <Science>

EDIT. Switched tree to minimistic one, bcoz some ppl just cant understand what PROOF OF CONCEPT means... dear god...

Ok so i had a few chars on Standard with over 100 points to fool around.

Ive created MOM Incinerate this league, but it requires A LOT of top gear to be endgame viable, so i was curious if new jewels would help me out,

Im talking about this lovely jewel:


It seems that thx to this gem Witch can get around ~150% increased mana with ~13 points. To be honest i think its a f^^king lot.

At the end of investment into CI and jeweler slots and more mana (total 200%)

It was fairly easy to reach 3.8k mana. Key items where spiral mind and atziri's neck. (with gear was around ~250 mana regen without regen on other part as neck.

Jeweler slots can be used to catch up on dps aspects.

Seems like GGG added easier way to run EB without even specking into EB :S

you forgot the part where you trade in life.
leaving it mainly usefull for ES based builds.
wich never lacked a high 'Health' pool but in mitigation.

that being said it will open up new type of builds wich is good i think. but it's not as good as the old EB mana stacking.

that being said the jewel is indeed worth looking into now with it's buff.
guess i might try a mana tank build next.

Doesn't work so well with CI.

well i took CI just bcoz :S

Another permutation could be 7 auras auromanco incinerator :S Similar to Sillincinerator.

Updated for auromancer.

Most important part is fact that its very easy to get huge amount of % mana with very little investment.

Im sure there will be a crafter that will find a way to use it :>

The problem with MoM and this jewel is that you loose life nodes. MoM does nothing for your ES, so I will ignore any ES defense in that case.
But since you converted the life nodes you actually may loose more than you get out of it (note: while more mana means also more mana regen, more life means more life regen (if you have any life regen%)).

Point if the tree was completly irrevelant to ES... Point was to show how new jewel creates HUGE mana pool for very little investment.

Its not ment to work. Its not guide. Not endgame tree. Its only proof of concept. How it will be used by community is another completly irrevelant matter.

I got mine placed down at the mara End Charge slot and it helps ALOT to balance my life to mana ratio to where its perfect! This jewel is great with mana based MOM builds and the life you give up for sure as in my case makes its well worth it because if your mana pool is too small and you life too much every hit will take all your mana making the next hit you take go all in on life so this jewel certainly helps balance that out to where MOM feels perfect!

And the buff they just give makes it work even better now! very underrated jewel for sure!

I simply tried to run my Freeze Pulse Witch from before 2.0 that used a Cloak of D. for Mind over Matter and an 6L Pledge of Hands. The Mana Bonus on the Pledge was my Intention to get rid of CoD and try an simple Kaoms Heart (New Version).
Build works better as before without using Eldritch Battery from Tree!-)
I got around 2,3k Mana and have like 450 Free after Clarity, Herald of Thunder and Arctic Armour
6k Life (before around 4,8k-5k)
38k DpS without Power Charges up, with 47k (before 27k without PC and 34k with)

The little Ice Golem Scales my Dam as well and critchance is even also higher as before with new Tree Options.
So at least Items like Pledge of Hands or even good old Dream Fragments will help a lot on gaining Mana. But also flat Mana Mods on Items becomes imtportant because its huge with 100% more of em!-)

With pledge i would say its possible to gen 4500 mana pool Oo \O/... but i cant test it dont have the item.
