Vorici crafting question
hey,
1. I just wanted to know if the Vorici Socket colour changing craft has, as the normal chrom orb, no effect on the links in an item. Let s say i have a 6L corrupted chest armor and I wanna change the colour, I apply the at least 3 green sockets craft. It will always still be 6L right? 2. This question is closly related and it is probably pretty obvious. I m sorry for that, but since a mistake when using new mecanics could cost a lot, i just wanna make sure. If I take the previous example: 3 green sockets craft, that means I get 3 green and the other 3 could be anything. Do they get a random colour with the probabilities for each colour equal to the ones the item in a non corrupted state would have, if u used a chrom orb on it? (would be happy about any additional information, links... about this that u have) so could the item end up with any combination which has at least 3 G in it: 3G 2R 1B or 3G 3B or 6 G and so on repeating the process will always give u the same probability for every of the possible outcomes Thanks for anyone who takes the time to clearify things for me Last edited by benneses#6565 on Aug 6, 2015, 2:43:20 PM

1 - it does not affect links or socket number
2 - I can't find an exact answer to this. In my experience it feels like off colors seem to happen more often than with a regular chrome. If I want 3g I pay for 2g until the other colors come out what I want. I got this first roll paying for 2r, would never even bother attempting it with raw chromes. (Old gems obviously, no idea what I'm gonna do with an aura support char now...) When I kill a man he stays dead.

Vorici's benches hate me. I have better luck rolling 4 blues on a strength head.
But it's sorta useful at times like when you need two green and one red on a wand. There comes a time thief when jewels cease to sparkle, gold loses it's luster, throne room becomes a prison, and all that's left is a father's love for his child. - King Osric
