Map Crashing (video and all)

I was running a 112% iiq/4x+ iir/crazy pack fracture map and it was raining regret orbs and fusings and the server was probably like 'oh hell no this guy can't have all this currency' and booted me out to the login screen.

I go back to my HO instance and 3 portals in it just booted me out.

Not sure if there is a 'real' error trace stack somewhere besides just 'unexpected' error occurred.

Edit: I removed the first video and just posted the most recent crash/video.

Exact same thing happened to me just now. On a graveyard map with lots of iiq/iir. Identical to what the video shows.

I'm posting this video in this thread/unlisted/private instead of plays.tv because I honestly don't think GGG had this sort of publicity in mind when they encouraged the video contest.

High rolled map gets killed by the server - again.

This is the 2nd time now - first happened immediately before I posted on this thread. It appears to be happening with high rolled maps.

I had a nice tag line for plays.tv picked out and everything - like "No map drops? How about no #PathOfExile mapping at all..."

Time and currency invested literally evaporated.

It wouldn't surprise me if they have to rework item drops right down to the core to fix this. Anyway, I have also taken a break. Way too frustrating.

This just happened to me, but it was a pretty damn tame map. ~15% pack size Arid Lake. It doesn't seem like it takes crazy stuff like seawitch/fracture. What is the GGG word on getting this fixed?

A temporary solution for this is here posted by Alea at the top of that page.

I mapped for a few hours making sure to tp out where there are no bodies around me and no crashes.
