100% lightning >cold> fire

A question about stacking dammage on conversion builds, and the conversion with the cold to fire suport gem in combination with avatar of fire.

so with the new Call of the Brotherhood two stone ring it is possible to get 100% of lightning to cold damage. If i were to run cold to fire suport and avatar of fire, it would be 100% fire at 100 or 75% effectivenes?

Meaning if i have 100% lightning damage it would be converted to cold then fire damage resulting in 100/75 fire damage
at this point im thinking, lets put some passives in Storm weaver (25% cold & 25% Lightning damage) and Snowforged (25% cold and 25% fire damage). this is a total of 100% overal.

My question, How does it scale?

i tought it would be:

Base 100 lightning +25% = 125 100% converted to cold= 125 cold +50%= 187.5 cold converted to fire damage
= 187.5 fire +25% = 234

Resulting in an effective 134% damage instead of "just 100 %" increase.

TL:DR
100% lightning= 100% cold= 100% fire

Conversion cold to fire+avatar of fire = 100% or 75% of cold to fire?

Damage scaling 100 lightning = 100 cold = 100 fire + 25% lightning +50% cold + 25% fire final damage?
Cold to Fire + Avatar of Fire is a 100% conversion.

For damage:

Your conversions happen first, so:
100 lightning -> 100 cold -> 100 fire.

Your resulting damage (100 fire) is then increased by all the increases to fire/cold/lightning damage, so:
100 * (1 + 0.25 + 0.5 + 0.25) = 200 fire damage.

Wiki has a very good article on coversion with more examples.
Conversion occurs before all Damage modifiers.
Converted Damage benefits from modifiers to its source-type(s).
Cold to Fire also adds an amount of your Cold Damage as Fire Damage. This is what makes it a good Support. Important to remember.

100 base Lightning Damage

Conversion and Damage Based On, in order:
100% Lightning to Cold conversion
30% of Cold Damage as Fire
100% Cold to Fire conversion

100 Lightning -> 100 Cold (from Lightning)

100 * 0.3 = 30 base Fire Damage (from Cold)

100 Cold -> 100 Fire (from Lightning from Cold)

Summary:
100 Fire (from Lit/Cold)
30 Fire (from Cold)

Damage modifiers:
25% Increased Lightning Damage
50% Increased Cold Damage
25% Increased Fire Damage

100 Fire (from Lit/Cold) benefits from all modifiers:
100 * (1 + (25/100) + (50/100) + (25/100)) = 100 * 2 = 200 Fire Damage

30 Fire (from Cold) benefits from Cold and Fire Damage modifiers:
30 * (1 + (50/100) + (25/100)) = 52.5, rounds to 52 Fire Damage

Total Damage dealt: 252 Fire Damage
