Can i blessed orb a unique?
If i blessed orb a unique, will i just reroll the damage or will i reroll the stats that the unique is guaranteed to roll?

You will only reroll IMPLICIT stats on the unique.
The implicit stat on an item is the bonus it has above the line for the rest of its stats. For instance, the life/mana bonuses on a paua/coral ring or the item rarity bonus from the white gold amulets. So for instance you have an Andvarius with a nice roll of +68% rarity. The implicit rarity on it however, is only about 6%. You could reroll that using a blessed to hopefully get an even higher rarity bonus. e: this won't work on a unique with no implicit stat, like a pair of facebreaker gloves. Hope this was of use to you. Regards. 1337 21gn17ur3 Last edited by ExiledToWraeclast#6661 on Feb 11, 2013, 2:43:08 AM

Snatching this thread for a similar question. Made this ring as of 1 hour ago and my friend told me to "re roll the stats" and i guess he meant using a blessed orb? Kinda new to crafting so i'm not sure what "mods" would benefit from this?

" I wouldn't reroll that. It has literally everything you need (life, res, damage related mods). The only bad roll is the phydmg. |

" Blessed orb would change the allres which can range from 8 to 12 percent, so don't use a blessed. Chaos would reroll it completely, meaning it gets new stats. Divine would reroll the existing stats to different values within their possible range. Not worth it on that ring though, it's pretty decent as it is. Use it until you find something better or more fitting for your build. |

" Well blessed orbs are kinda cheap so if it was that it would probably be worth it :P |

Necroing the thread for a similar question...
Is there any way to reroll the numbers of the mods on a unique? |

You can use a divine orb on the unique in question, suppose the unique has a stat that has random rolls (like the max mana and attack speed on a Lioneye's Glare). Regards.
e: and also as said below a Blessed orb will let you reroll its implicit if it has one. 1337 21gn17ur3 Last edited by ExiledToWraeclast#6661 on Apr 12, 2013, 1:45:50 AM

" Divine Orb will reroll all random mods but for the implicit, whereas Blessed will only do the implicit (if it is malleable). So to reroll the mod values on a unique item. divine orb. Edit: semi-ninja'd. And they said *I* was bad at PoE. At least I made it out of act 1 and know how to use the /dnd function. El oh fucking el.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. |
