GT 730 videocard

can anybody here tell me if this card (GT 730) can run poe in max settings with no fps drops?
or if i run poe with low settings will it completely eliminate lag and fps drop? this card is all i can afford right now. my card right now is a geforce 210. i hope anybody can help me. thanks in advance.:) :) :) |

No, you'll prety much always get FPS drops regardless of gfx card(even up to titans), because when the game is running there is always going to be something that hasn't been preloaded and when the game needs to load it it freezes for a fraction of a second, the over all FPS should be better with the expansion due to how the render multiple spell effects though

" aaaaaaah. okay thanks for telling me. will this new card still be good to run with higher graphics settings though? was thinking of buying right now haha |

Hmm i'd have thought so but i double checked and it's not a "gaming" card, it's using ddr3 rather than gddr5 and it has 80 odd cuda cores when the 750 gt has over 500...at the very least you should be able to run high textures(unless you have a 32 bit OS) but you may need to turn shadows off

" was planning to get the gddr5 version of the gt730 which has 384 cuda cores. my OS is 32bit btw. |

Ahh, the OS will limit you to using medium textures or lower...it's something that was put in place for 32 bit OS's to try prevent you from crashing with out of memory errors(lower textures = lower file sizes on the preloaded textures)
i would recomend having v-sync on though, a bit pointless having you card rendering frames that your monitor cant display (usualy capped at 60-75fps) and maybe turn off screen shake Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

I have an extra PC that we no longer use. was thinking of just replacing the fried processor with an Apu and installing a 64bit os. will an A8-7600 apu be okay for high textures without a dedicated graphics card? this is the only apu available where I live.
