New Server Locations for The Awakening Beta

Hi GGG. I am South African. When I play POE those little packets have to make it all the way (by pigeon) to the east coast of Africa and then make its way up to Europe, on average it takes about 180-200ms to get there. Everyday we face the risks of getting chopped with machetes when going to buy some Nik Nax at the shop but luckily we have no desync in real life and can dodge the machetes and get away from the bad guys. In POE we can not escape the bad guys because we can't use lockstep.
This makes me and my fellow Africans very sad. We have tried latency dancing but still the latency doesn't drop.

Please GGG if you give us a server we can get you lots of cows and chickens to trade.

Please consider.

Love Africa

+1 for Brazilian servers. Please show us some love!
If I say "I want a server in Japan!", that would be too much to ask so I won't say it.
Brazilian server! Up!
Nice initiative, GGG doing an excellent job!
13 ms ping sould fit the definition of a LPB :P

great stuff GGG
I live in Tennessee. So i'm stuck in the middle between Texas and D.C.

On live i already get a 40ms ping. I doubt the D.C. gateway would be much better. If i evr get on beta, or when act4 arrives i'll find out then.

Cut my latency in half. Just curious, why D.C. and not NYC?

DC is centralized to the entire Eastern Seaboard - NYC is in the North East.

Hey Chris how can we know which is better for us between Texas and DC? I am almost equidistant from both. Can we simply switch at will or is it more permanent?
Went from 65ms to Texas, to 16-17ms to California... and revenue is being generated in my State rather than Texas. Double win!

Firewalk: You can change at will from the login screen.

Chris... what kind of capital was spent on this project? Inquiring minds want to know! We players have literally no clue as to how much this would cost.

It's like how it currently is. You have a drop down menu to select the server before you log in, so you can switch by logging out.
