3d Bino's kitchen knife

I had some extra time during the weekend so I decided to try and make some fan art for PoE. I picked Bino's because it has a fairly simple shape and I like it as an unique.

Programs used: Blender (modeling, UVs, Rendering) Photoshop Crazybump Technical info: 7882 tris (nope, didn't really care) 2048x2048 textures (diffuse, normal, specular) Afterthoughts: The mesh is quite messy here and there and some parts are somewhat wonky (straps mainly) but other than that I'm fairly pleased although it's somewhat different from the original art. I was thinking of having some blood on the blade but ended up leaving it out due to technical difficulties. I had some problems with the reference as well. 78px × 234px picture on the wiki doesn't exactly offer much detail :D I might make some more of these depending on how much time I've got on my hands. | |
