The shotgunning change will not affect attack skills because they weren't able to shotgun directly, but I assume TS will get a significant damage/functionality nerf, which was too long in coming anyway, if you ask me.

I expect multiprojectile supports will get a damage penalty and mana multiplier reduction, pretty much the only thing keeping them expensive were shotgunning spells.

I mean you use mana constantly, so when it is depleted it just does nothing and you cant use your skills and have to wait for it to recharge? :S I dislike this much time you have to wait in between combat, I don't see the appeal here.

A easy rework of MoM instead would have been much better. Like you take a certain percent more damage because they think you can get too much hp/mana. Easy way to fix this.

i agree, mana shield chars are pretty much completely useless now, i dont understand why nerf something that was weak in the first place

So giving GGG money is "pointless" unless you get special closed beta rewards/privileges for it (in addition to the rewards they already offer to donors)? What about supporting the awesome game they've been providing us for years now? Not good enough for your money?

What if they had to give everyone who donated special privileges? Where do they draw the line for beta privileges? 50 bucks? 100 bucks? Any amount? What if they make the minimum donation amount for beta access a greater amount of money than you've donated? Does that mean they're unfairly discriminating?

The new content will be available to everybody eventually, regardless of whether you get into the closed beta or not, so why make such a fuss about it, especially considering that this (top tier) game is free to play, and your donations make it so. If that's not "returning the favor" then I don't know what is.

From GGG's point of view it makes sense to give specific streamers access because they provide a service to GGG by broadcasting and popularizing their game. Is the amount of money you've donated worth that service? Almost certainly not. So who deserves beta access more, you or a popular streamer? Clearly the streamer. Does that mean you definitely won't get beta access? Of course not.

In addition, giving access to specific popular streamers is a benefit to those who don't get beta access (potentially yourself), because you can watch the streamers play the beta instead of being shut out completely. So they (unfairly, by your logic) give these streamers access to the beta, in part to benefit the whole of their player base.

1.) giving up your privacy and open yourself to the public in a way streamers do is worth more than a few hundred bucks your spend on a game.
2.) it's not "streamers", it's "very successful streamers only".
3.) those guys have done more for the game's success and popularity than the average supporter.
4.) if you're just jealous, try to get a stream with a million views up and running. should be easy, shouldn't it?

im pretty sure without the (closed beta) supporter there wouldnt be poe for streamer to stream.
