Using PoE ingame Stream Software *hints*

Hey!

After figuring out some basic information about Twitch I though id share some usefull ideas about using the PoE ingame streaming software.

Things needed to take into consideration:
a) if you are not a partner with Twitch it automatically streams you with Source quality. Crazy huh?!? Whats crazy in this is that you need to "earn" lower quality options to your stream by getting a partnership with Twitch^_^

Problem: You are streaming on so high quality that the client starts to lag and also the stream starts to "buffer"; even with OBS stream software!

Solution: With PoE stream software you put the lowest possible Bitrate available. No more client lag.

b) if you have very bad internet connection you will lose packages in any case.

Solution: dont stream.


Just thought I bring up this thing about Twitch - PoE stream software. Maybe someone else can make a thorough guide.

nearly every router has "quality of service" settings to setup data connections on certain destination ports to a higher or lower priority.

just set the standard ports the client uses to the highest priority and enjoy a flawless gaming experience while surfing and streaming at the same time.

edit says: to find out the ports poe uses, use some tools like tcpView from microsaft.
