US Standard-Hardcore 1v1 Open

This thread is for discussion of this PvP Rating ladder. Note that the ratings are reset each PvP season.

Ratings now degrade. Degradation is applied daily, and is based on the certainty of a character's rating.

To enter this ladder, connect to the American gateway and press "B" to bring up the Events/PvP panel.

Why on two occasions so far have I seen my points reduced by about 20-40 without losing? noticed the same for gutbags at one point and probably happened to others or the whole ladder at once?

Lame, each time I log in I'm -20ish points ha..... oh well

is there any information on how the daily degrading system works?

I think I read something that stated daily degredation was based
on assurance of rank or something to that effect.

some clarification would be nice.

I think its based on how you win matches, for example if you win a lot of matches by 4-0 your rating will degrade by a smaller amount than if you win them at close calls of 4-3

Nah I think its harsher the higher your rank but will not de-rank you perhaps? I win most every match 4-0 with only a few exceptions like giving ppl a round for dailies BC I'm like that. I'm losing 20-40 a day.

I'm on America gateway and just got queued 2x in a row onto EU PvP ladder. I was literally competing on that ladder when I won I moved 630 places. If this is some new intentional thing that kinda sucks because I don't enjoy playing in 200-500ping rubber banding matches.

How many thousand is your es regen again? your build forces people to just just run and draw you. If you can't catch them you can't blame them.
