Reward ideas to invite pvp participation
I think it would be cool to introduce rewards for pvp involvement, regardless of success. Alt art might be kind of high, but what about portrait frames or like - single skin transfers etc for things like the following:
1,000 rounds of pvp played (to completion, no entering and relogging) 5,000 rounds of pvp played 10,000 rounds of pvp played 1,000 wins 5,000 wins 5,000 losses Just general things to invite participation, you can have some unique skin transfers for the top achievent of wins/losses/matches played so that you would see someone with a burlap sack on their head and say - oh, that guy really dedicated his time to losing 5k matches huh? Must be really into pvp. Skin transfers would keep them account bound, so you don't have to worry about people doing it for the currency of selling them off. I was thinking about how much time people sink into achievements in other games, and the achievement seems so pointless and time consuming, but progress towards a goal keeps people playing. If I'm going for 5k losses, but I face a bunch of people who I can beat, maybe I realize a few more tweaks would allow me to win a skin transfer for 1k or 5k wins relatively easy, etc. Then wait - I'm already more than halfway to the 10k matches played goal...... I think the thought process will keep people more involved and keep the queues busier, plus give tons of people reasons to keep playing. [By the way, I'm not sure if these numbers are realistic, I just threw some numbers out there.] |

Literally I would never get 5000 losses, and if it's ranked matches and you're high on ladder we won't get the wins either. Avg 50min/match, and if playing lowlander chars I find matches instant.
Either way Rory said months ago that no achievement or reward will be based around how many games played It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

" Well, I said I just picked the numbers randomly, the concept is what I was promoting - not the numbers specifically. And I'm giving my feedback, regardless of what was said! Can't hold me downnnnnnn |
