What kind of damage is blood magic damage?

What damage type is the blood magic damage that you take when you cast a skill that uses blood magic. Is it a 4th type of damage? (not physical, elemental, or chaotic)

" It shouldn't be considered as damage at all. You simply "spend life" instead of "spend mana". But then again, it may be one of those special "wording" cases that have special rules. This message was delivered by GGG defence force.

It's not damage.
In Dota parlance, it's hp removal. It does stop energy shield recharge, but aside from that, it doesn't have very many "damage" qualities. It doesn't "hit", it doesn't scale from "damage" effects nor decrease from "damage mitigation" effects. |

" You dont just spend life for taking a hit, you can also spend mana for that. Its no damage type, it just changes from mana spent to life spent thats all. |
