What are the different types of being a ranger?

Well just looking around this forum will answer that but I'll add some.
Bow rangers really decide 3 things, the fuel (mana), the attacks, and the defense. For fuel, they come either regular mana, or blood magic based wich uses life as mana, and utilizes lots of life/life leech. For attack, usually there's elemental based like lightning, or physical based like split arrow. Also u can use non bows but PERSONALLY I'd just make a duelist or marauder instead if I wanted to go that route, but that's me and I'm a noob. For defense there's evasion or armor or the passive iron reflexes wich converts evasion to armor. Popular opinion is that strict evasion is bad since u will dodge 9 hits but die from the tenth so most people get the IR passive and just use armor based. Hope this helps a little to start. |

I herd there were different types of ranger but don't know which one to choose. I don't want to mess up my passive skills tree.

If you ranger is your first char you probably will mess up her passives, unless you spend a lot of time reading the forums and the wiki.
A guide might help you, but since ARPGs are very gear dependent you would need certain items to make the build explained to you by the guide work. |

" I really don't think it's that hard. You can copy builds easy and even branch off and improvise with just a few tips. Things like aim for notables, use synergy with keynodes etc. Dont get mana if u use blood magic, don't get elemental Dmg if u don't plan on using elem skills, these concepts are pretty easy to grasp with just a bit of forum research. |

This is my insta-mana build.....still some points to spend on defence and hp .
