life/mana leech question dealing with minions

let's say I have life/mana leech on my weapon and I have minions attacking for me, would I gain life/mana when my minion attacks? or how about having life/mana leech gems linked to the minion gem?

No it all goes to your minions if your minions is attacking, however they won't benefit from life/mana leech on your gear, they only benefit if it's from the passive tree or it if the support gem is linked to them.
