Haste aura not working?

I've been using the haste aura on my character for a while, and it doesn't seem like it really makes that much difference. I've tried comparing attack speed with the aura on to with it off, and it seems pretty similar. I've also tested run speed, and it seems that maybe there is a bit of a boost, but it's extremely small. Yet other times, my character's attack speed seems to suddenly increase for no reason -- this is not because of frenzy charges.

I have noticed the weird attack speed bug as well. sometimes a character casts faster or slower than before. i believe it is possible that haste is not applying correctly in some circumstances. or the attack speed calculation is broken somehow.

however, haste does not provide a huge cast speed / attack speed bonus so you won't notice a huge difference when using it. My ranger goes from 0.54 aps to 0.5 aps with a lvl20 haste.
and a change in movement speed is difficult to pick up on. I suggest you time yourself running in a straight line with and without and you will notice a difference.

I know this can't be OP's issue since he has no rampage characters, but Incarcerated does...are you looking at your character sheet while in combat? Because rampage gives you attack speed (not sure about movement speed) as you kill monsters on your rampage. So testing in your hideout would be best.

good shout. that's probably it. i hadn't thought about it being rampage at all. so easy to forget it's there :) i'll keep my eye on it but i guess that's what's causing it for me.
