Vagan's Steampunk Estate (HotW submission + general showoff))

Edit: I have no idea how to make the images show up better in-thread

G'day,

I don't see many hideouts submitted here using Vagan's hideout, and even less that do not feature trees/rocks as the primary theme.

Thus I decided to make Vagan's Steampunk Estate.

It was a lot harder than you'd think - it's surprisingly easy to make rocks and trees merge into a cohesive look. Clearly defined objects like steel and pipes are rather tricky. I also wanted to make it look like the upper area was a house.

Overall, the main objective of the hideout was to integrate as much of the workbenches/tools as possible, and merge as many decorations as I could to create a new look that would be unique to me (the candles on the wall for example)

So, without further adieu:

The middle level is the steampunk waypoint and mapping area. All the devices are powered off the black sludge pumped in from offscreen via the three pipes feeding Haku's bench. Haku's bench gets supplementary power from the hand-crank which also drives the sharpening wheel

The main power plant is currently busted, and the overheated black sludge has been sent to the lower level until the exiles working on the power plant can work out what to do with it

The map device is powered off the central system and features an array of portal generator plates

[The black sludge is Shore Rocks from Haku]

Downstairs is the prison which includes a space for Vorici to practice extracting information.

The upstairs level features the estate. Upon entering the main dining area, the estate branches off into two wings. In the arcane research wing Elreon studies in a small library. Zana watches over the treasure wing

I love the steampunk theme; the pipes and things really let you make cool designs that look interconnected.

Also thanks for showing the "editing" view so I can see a how-it's-made look. I wish more people did this.
Thanks for the feedback. It's pretty hard to make a cohesive looking hideout that isnt full of trees etc.
Bump
from what master do i get this?
