Myu's Plaza - Overgrown Unearthed Hideout - Rampage

Yep, i'm here to show you my hideout ! First i really want to thanks GGG for giving us such a powerfull tool. It's really impressive how we are almost able to create a new game (for free D:). And while i'm at it, a big thanks to global 820, you guyz rox ! When i started to build the hideout (well, after the first horrible try), i was interested in making splitted areas and i build the first room around each of thoses areas. The second room i started differently, i knew what would be my primary structure and how i would link it to the first room, from that it was all about trying to get the maximum of it. Then the limit strike while i was halfway done so it become a real challenge ... But i'm happy of the result, for which i really invit you to come look at it yourself for all the "living" play of the hideout with all the light reflection/moving tree/rain/smog. Also of the fact that i could solve most of the "overlapse" bug. I'll try to make a little movie about it to give you a better look of the effect, but i'm starting that from 0 so i don't know if/when it'll be out. This is the first edition, with Catarina hideout, and master lvl are 7 for Tora/Cata and 6 for the others. (So we'll have to wait for the overload of favor points edition =p). I still have some decoration i want to try but i lack of favor points so updates may come from time to time. Everyone is welcome, just add me @ MyujinOyo and come on rampage.  At the bottom is the remain of the drifting boat that brought me here, above is the stashs bank (and behind it the last one who tryed to land a hand on it) and the arch leading to the second room.  Yep, we end the visit right in time for the lunch ! I hope you enjoyed the visit ! i really cant stress you enough about the interest of visiting it live, it may motive me enough to learn some movie making basics =p. I really enjoy the light/tree effect, and to be honest catarina is my favorite place, which is yours ? let me know <3 And the fact that many "tricks" can be done, like the table with his planet having his top circle that change color depending from where you look, the firecamp that took me 2 days to find it, the gregor wall that would be awesome if overlapsing wouldn't glitche that much D:. and all the light play, hiding lamp was a real struggle but the reflect on walls/items sometime left me speechless. I'm really sorry about the quality (even in full qual) and the fact that my screen is square ... i hope you enjoyed watching it as much as i did building it. As a last word, no free hate please, i don't mind some tease but everyone have different taste, you may found my hideout as a crappy one because you absolutely want a specific kind of hideout, many design are possible, many pattern could have been made, but i had to pick one, and the limitation (250-500-750) didn't helped, but i guess with no limit GGG would have needed a server for each of our hideouts. Forums are SOOO much fun on patch day!
Casuals play because it's fun, not to achieve any goal unreachable with their resources. We are playing for the next difficulty, the next keystone, the next item upgrade. Not to feel better than anyone else. |
