Shadow of the Vaal -Bugged (Stuck in Act 2 Cruel)-

Well, as the title says it. It seems that somehow my quests have gotten bugged and I am unable to complete the quest to kill Vaal. Before it got bugged, I had just finished killing all of the Bandits (Oak, Kraityn, and the other one), and I had the altar key to summon Vaal.
Then here is when things went wrong... I joined a public group who was in the process of just completing some part of the quest ( I am not sure which part of the quest I jumped in on, but I believe it was the one inside of the chamber of sins, but I could very well be mistaken). Upon arriving through a town portal to where the group was, it instantly changed my quests and the gold lettering showed up on the bottom of the screen saying something, this is when It left me with the current quest that I am on now. I will leave a screenshot with my quest Tab open. I have tried killing Vaal twice now at my current quest log(both times I have reset the instance to the Waterfall Caves AND to the Pyramid BEFORE entering), and both times it would not let click the altar to spawn Vaal, and it would not let me enter into Act 3 After killing Vaal. This is very frustrating, I believe you could understand. I am in the Hardcore League as well, so it is very daunting to try and figure out what is wrong with my quest log, and stay alive. Any help would be appreciated.
