Buy-back option

I just sold my 234 1h axe, which i was about to trade, by accident to a vendor.

I had several axes of the same art style in my inventory, and picked the wrong 1, without checking, and sold it.


Id like a buy-back option...im so... "upset"

Same thing happened to me with a unique item. Still pretty pissed about it.

You'd figure they'd at least give you a dialogue box for anything above rare quality.

Just sold a six link rare to vendor by accident, I feel kind of sick at the moment. They really should do something about this. Please put in a buy back tab for people like me, you know people who make mistakes.

But only the smart people learn from the mistake and make sure it doesn't happen again.
I sold a %10 gem when I started playing by accident because I left in my helm when I switched and sold it.
It's not GGG's fault.
It's not a flaw in the game.
I made a mistake and will never do it again.
We don't need a buyback, people should just make sure they are selling the right things.

Plus how is that going to work correctly with vendor recipes without opening up an exploit?

A buyback would be nice, and an easy way to deal with vendor recipes is simply to remember how much it was sold for and require that much back to use the buyback.

While it would be nice, it is by no means a necessity. Vendoring items you did not mean to, will make you learn it the hard way, and be careful the next time.

No buybacks, the vendors are ruthless traders with no conscience, hope, love, or compassion - they would just as soon murder us in our sleep to loot our corpses as they would sell us an alch for twenty exalts! ]:D
