[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Can someone help with how I can progress further? I'm currently just following build 1 of the guide and am struggling at yellow maps. I currently have 100c and would like to know the best investment. It's really hard to optimize and checking other builds, they seem to have easier times dealing with bosses while this one takes a lot of time. This is my first character so I'm still getting to know a lot about the mechanics of the game. Would it be better to go to a different build and save more chaos instead? or invest in this character for more clearing?

To everyone above commenting that this build seems to cap without massive investments, I feel your pain.

I'm 88 and clear all mobs in T12 maps with ease, but die or run out of portals fighting bosses - even after making significant changes to my build to run Kaom's Heart (5.3k hp, max res).

My rings/amulet aren't great but I'm running 5-link LE, Kaom's, Rat's Nest and have maxed resistances with 5.3k HP.

Relucant to spend an exalt on The Signal Fire at this point, because while I gain 30+% DPS, I don't even think that's going to be enough. I'm honestly not even sure if +50% or more DPS would be sufficient. With Kaom's, which seems like a requirement of this build, I can't use Barrage as a secondary for single-target.

Also worth mentioning that running Bisco's Collar with Kaom's seems out of reach without serious gear optimization. That's really unfortunate because 100% IQ is arguably BiS - I'd have to double my DPS to achieve the same result (i.e., clear 2x as fast) and I see no way to do it.

Wondering if I should just switch to the Doomfletch Prism build which apparently has no problems with end-game content and isn't very expensive.

Interested in your thoughts - my gear is public.

Hey guys, Im a newer player and the guide shows that Herald of Ice + Curse on hit works. So I have this item and links and as far as I know this should work but I'm not seeing it work. Im not seeing any Assassins Mark or Onslaught. Any advice?

^^^ ^^^ it should work men. Herald of ice has after effect of exploding the mob, wait for that and look at the mobs near the aoe of exploding ice that hit will curse and not the first hit.

Totally loving this build so far :) The clear speed is insane and with the Unique Amulet, ring and Quiver I have equipped I don't even need a Mana flask and am gaining 50 HP per hit on top of instant leech from Vaal Pact :)

Atm I am running :

Ice Shot with PTL > EDWA and LMP

Barrage with Ice Bite > Maim and PTL (increased Freeze and Proc Frenzy)

Blast Rain with PPAD > Bleed Support > Power Charge on Crit

Hatred and Herald of Ice

Seige Ballista for clearing big packs/blocking choke points.

Mixing up my attacks means I am pretty much proccing Power Charges and Frenzy Charges all the time and with the amulet I mentioned above get 81% increased duration on my power charges.







Note you can actually craft the quiver at a Vendor with :

1× white Sharktooth Arrow Quiver
1× rare Onyx Amulet
1× Rain of Arrows gem with at least 1% quality
1× Orb of Chance

Well, I am at 86, also running TS build. I do not go for Kaom's as that's just too expensive and feels stupid since I prefer actually having evasion instead of plate armor. I am at about 4.3k HP atm.

As for bosses, it does really take some time to shoot them down (I recall my Glacial Hammer build being 10x faster in this). I even tried 5-linked Barrage for that, but it doesn't help much unless you facetank it (many arrows will miss on bigger distance). But I do believe that having a 6-link Barrage with some gear optimization will work a lot better.
I suppose this is something we need to deal with as a price for super quick clear speed on anything else. After all, taking down those bosses isn't actually deadly, we can still handle it from fair distance.

Ad. Bisco's Collar - I was thinking the same. Even without Kaom, capping yourself is a big deal as we already wear too many legendaries. But I think it's viable if you go for rare quiver. Obviously you want to use this in yellow maps, not the the red ones.

Last note - I wonder if this full ele conversion thingy is really such a big deal? I did play archer before, the conversion was only 50% and we went for crit/multiplier. From what I recall, that one worked a whole lot better against bosses....

I didn't mean linking yourself. Buying a 5l white evasion base (1cat most) and using an essence of greed for guaranteed liferoll is far cheaper. With gloves I meant a rare pair with attackspeed, life and some res, not his suggestion. A rare life+res. belt. Maybe some better jewellery. The cheap part ends somewhere here but that's still a lot.
Lioneye's is a good bow, but you can't evade vs the reflect with it unless they changed something. That+ far shot can make things tricky. Haven't used it for a while - so you better ask other people in this thread about it.

Can someone help with how I can progress further? I think that i should use less uniques, even if my res are capped? i stop at T10 maps, but i die often and some of bosses are really hard to kill.

Just a small warning to people readzing this - (idk about standard) - but doomfletch is much more expensive in temp league compared to this.
The difference is around 20-30% dmg with an almost identical tree. You feel those at shaper, possibly guardians but not really before this point.
You can use the weaponswap for barrage. Just get another bow+quiver.

- I feel you with bisco's. Regular mapping was nerfed for little reason..so it's sort of mandatory now..unless youre doing uberlab/ beachhead/guardians
