Question about hardcore...

The only difference on between hardcore and default is that when you die you lose your hardcore stash items? Is the skill tree and other stuff the same?

HC you don't lose your stash - when you die your character, the items it has equipped and in Inventory go to default league.

Everything else is the same as default.

You do not lose the HC stash. Your dead character and his/her current possessions are moved to default league. This is the only difference from default league, where dying simply has an exp penalty on higher difficulties.

Yep, these guys are correct. Every single thing as far as the Passive tree, loot drops and difficulties are identical between HC and Default. WHen you die in HC, your character and it's inventory go to default, your hardcore stash remains in hardcore.

When you reroll another hardcore character, your stash will still be intact.

Oh ok that's what i meant, I meant that i won't be able to get with that character the items that i left on the HC stash after i die once...

Because i'm making my first character, so i guess i'll make it default then

do hardcore deaths also lose XP?

I/d assume you still lose the 7 or 15% XP that you normally do. But once your character dies on hardcore, you get sent to default anyway. Most hardcore players just delete the character and start over, but if you persist to play it, on Cruel you'll lose 7% of your xp and Merciless you'll lose 15%.

There's zero risk to making a hardcore character, the worst that can happen is that he'll become a normal character. (if you really want you can "shuttle" from your hardcore stash to your normal stash by getting hardcore characters killed with your stuff)

I didn't understand that, how do i transfer stuff from hardcore stash to normal stash??
By the way do i get any benefict from starting on hardcore?

Make a new hardcore character, put things that you want from your stash into your inventory, go into first zone and die :P
