[OMHCR] Evasion Duelist Using WoE+BoR [1.1.5d]

About the build: This build is great for early league progression. You can easily farm Piety and Dominus and even endgame Maps. It's extreme cost efficient, you can start with no uniques and the 'required' uniques aren't very expensive. Since you're going Evasion, you wont have to worry too much about stats on your gear other than Life and dual/tri resistances, whatever you find off the ground usually works. I started farming Piety still wearing blues and only 3.3k HP at Level 64.

How to level: Leveling is personal preference really, but I've discovered a new and fun way to level melee characters. Please keep in mind this guide is written with a new league progression mindset to quickly farm Piety the first day or two of a league and make money. You're welcome to play/level as you will.

Lv.1: Cleave/Molten Strike to Level 19.

Lv.19:Flicker Strike -> Multistrike -> Melee Splash combined with Blood Rage. You'll wipe packs insanely fast with no effort. If you can get a Wurm's Molt you'll be set on mana regen. If you have other leveling uniques, use them accordingly. Use Geofri's til Rigvalds, etc. Flicker Striking never really falls off.

Lv.45: Around Lv.45 or so (give or take a level) you should be able to sustain using Blood Magic for your 4th link in Flicker Strike. If you have a 5L, use Melee Physical or Added Fire. (Note: I 4L'd all the way to BoR so don't worry about trickin' if ya ain't got it)


Okay enough about leveling. That's just how I did it and it was completely viable on HC. I didn't have any desync issues with Flicker Strike and I still use it now to clear Piety runs and low Maps when I have nothing better to do with my life than try and give myself a seizure.

Lv.64 Time for Piety runs. Flicker Striking to Piety is on par with running as Righteous Fire (for anyone who has ever done that, it's about 100k XP/h [give or take]). You should blaze through levels and hopefully make some money off her. You can farm here decently until around Lv.77-78 and the XP falls off pretty hard. But if you grind it out hard enough you can actually do it til Lv.80 before the XP really falls off hard.
