Question about Mjolner

Hi, i have a question about Mjolner.

Does its

(30 to 40)% increased Lightning Damage with Weapons

mod affect the damage of the spells socketed into the mjolner?

Im not sure cause it says "With Weapons".

Also if the answer is yes, does that mean that WED on rings, belts and amulets also boost the damage of the spells socketed in the hammer? How about WED passives?

Key words are WITH WEAPONS. Spells are not weapons so no that particular mod does nothing for spells.

Right. The rolls on Mjolner are basically meaningless.

It's all about swag, style points, vanity, yolo. When people spend a bunch of currency on an item they want dat high roll doe.

A perfect or high rolled Mjolner will be worth more than a low rolled one no matter what, even if they both were to do exactly the same damage.

The extra damage from that mod is moderately useful if you use Lightning Strike. Otherwise it does nothing for almost any conceivable decent build with Mjolner.
