To divine or not to divine?
A Bino's dropped for me earlier this week so I've been relevelling my Ranger, but I wanted to know what was more important on a Bino's: the crit % or the pDPS. I got a fairly high pDPS roll but a really low crit roll. I have 2 divines sitting in my stash and don't know whether or not to divine it. Planning on doing a crit dagger dual striker. Any advice is appreciated. |

crit roll is decent enough!
850% increased crit strike chance is possible... without to much of effort 8.5*9.5=80.75crit... should work but you can even cap crit with this roll if you aim for it Most of the st builds do it with a 9.2 base crit weapon, therefore shouldnt be a big problem and it always depends on the crit multiplier if crit chance or pdps is more important... I would keep it as it is and just adapt gear and tree one-hit-dmg* chance-of-non-crit-hits + one-hit-dmg * chance-to-crit * crit-multi = dmg *aps=dps in your set up non-crit hits would be 0.2/(0.8*6)=4.1% of your dmg... So how can we increase the crit dmg? base dmg by 10% depending on dmg roll on binos but just by 5% with a perfect crit roll... 10% base would reach 85% cc therefore dmg roll is more important with a decent crit roll :) |

" Wow! Thank you for such an insightful answer. The RNG gods have gifted me the Bino's and I don't want to push my luck by trying to get higher rolls. |
