You could have just typed: 'POE is trade2Win'

Thats what you meant, right?

That's not even the worst thing.

The worst thing is that in some cases is Trade-2-Play

The trade system in PoE isn't the issue. Never has been.

Trading is fine. Trading is ok. Every aRPG have trading, and they should. Trading is a fine thing, AS LONG AS it remains a supplement, used to progress faster and finish certain builds. In PoE it's almost a must, because it will take you years to do this game 100% without trading. That is sad as hell, and the sole reason why a lot of players have quit - a lot of players will quit and a lot of players will never try the game at all.

But GGG remains true to their thing, making "the game they want to play". Play, as in trade.

I'm really, really getting tired of hearing this.
I've gotten to mid/high maps and killed Dominus without trading 2-3 times now.
It's quite difficult in hardcore.
In softcore it's fairly easy to do.

Have you ever wondered if SFL proponents beg Acti BLizz to add a SFL to D3? I know i have. Why arent SFL proponents either funding their own SFL based arpg or ask a different company to do it if GGG is unwilling?

Dirk, I'll ignore the question about funding their own SFL league, as that is obviously beyond the means of the vast, vast majority of players of PoE - but maybe you disagree.

As for pleading with D3 - you do know that D3 is entirely self-found now (with very limited exceptions), so I suppose the "SFL proponents" did win that argument with ActiBlizz?

MORE to the point - I would suggest that the vast majority of D3 players actually approve of the move to largely self-found within D3 (not something I am advocating, note "optional" SFL). Do you ever ask yourself why that might be the case?

And I'm getting tired of this. Dominus? Du YOU see killing Dominus as "the game"?

And yes, many players get to high level maps solo self found. Some claim they do, but don't. Some players sees 72 as high level maps. Some party their way to high level maps, and claim they know everything about doing it solo.

It's ALL about RNG, isn't it?

When you've played for 3 years, and never seen a 200+ DPS one-hander drop, never seen a 1200+ ar or 1200+ ev or 500+ es armor drop, you may start to think that high level maps is not for the solo player.

^that person is me. And I know several others. The defens-response i often get, is "this is bullshit" - because no one seems to believe that this is happening. A regular defense-response to this is also "RNG is RNG". Yes, it is, but you would think that after several years, it should sort of equal out?

I may tell you that I've made several chars capable of mid level maps, several MF chars capable of maps - but you wouldn't care. You live in your RNG bouble. I live in mine.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

So there is a game with SFL basically and people want to change GGGs mind on what they should do with their own game? I dont get it. Wouldnt it be easier to play D3 that asking GGG to implement a SFL which costs time and resources?

I really can't figure out why people keep saying this like it makes perfect sense or something. Believe it or not Diablo 3 and Path of Exile are two very very different games. I know that shocks you since their the same type of game but just because you like one doesn't mean you automatically will like the other. Wanting a self found league in PoE does NOT mean that the player would love Diablo 3. I'm sure that you already know this, hence my confusion as to why you keep saying it. Which brings me to my next question, why does a SFL bother you so much that you say stuff like this?

Here's what I got from some quick xyz searches...
~b/o 1 alch
~b/o 1 fuse
~b/o 1 fuse
~b/o 1 alch
~b/o 1 chaos

There's a reason these items are so cheap. Players find a lot of them. I probably find a 200+ DPS one-hander about one out of every three or four maps. Based off the prices for these items on the market, almost everyone finds them just about as often as I do. Even if it's half as often and I'm just lucky with them, it's still a lot.

So you tell us you haven't found any of these in 3 years? That's like telling me you went to the McDonald's and, surprise, they were completely out of food. I'm sorry, but I flat out do not believe you. Maybe you vendored them on accident or something.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

I know they drop a lot, but they do not drop for me. I can show you my /played, and I can show you my stash. And I never use one handers in my chaos recipe. And again, the fact that you don't believe me, just shows that you don't have any arguments what so ever.

And, when I can have this experience - a lot of people can. And that is sad.
