Increased freeze/chill/shock duration reduce min damage threshold to apply status?
Like in title, I am wondering if getting increased shock duration reduces the minimum damage you need to shock a target (which is explained in the mechanics thread)
The wiki says temporal chains also increases status durations, so does this also reduce the minimum damage needed for the status effect to apply? http://en.pathofexilewiki.com/wiki/Ignite#Duration https://www.youtube.com/@esvbanARPGs Last edited by Horvath#6575 on Jan 29, 2013, 10:07:49 PM

"Yes, because there isn't a damage threshold, it's a duration threshold, If a shock, chill or freeze would have a duration of below 300ms, it's ignored. if the duration is above that, it's applied, regardless of how much damage caused it to be that duration and the use of increased duration passives. "No. Temporal Chains does not increase the numerical duration of a buff/debuff. It makes time pass slower for the buffs/debuffs on the target, so they are expiring at a reduced rate - some a 300ms shock will only use up 10ms of that duration for every 20ms that passes while the temporal chains is in effect. |
