My melee build. Maby not the best, but i didnt find something other. (BTW sorry for my not so good english)


Howto play this char:

1. U need pure STR shield and as much armor as you can - there will be your main source of Armor. Because of some passives u have good amount of armor. Because of shield u will have great block and that will help u survive.
2. All other armor piepces go for pure int to have as much energy shield as u can.
3. You need to have Molten shell buff. It will improve your armor to like 50+%(maby even more) phys damage absorb and burn enemies around for great damage.
4. You need to used Tempest Shield buff. and you will inslict great damage on enemies (expecially ranged ones who rarely die because of this spell for a period of time u deal with melee ones)
5. use Infernal Blow or Glacial Hamer thats depends on situation. You have great STR score and are able to use STR Gems
6. shield charge is a great skill for go in or out of combat (there are Leap Slam as alternative)
7. u need some single target spell to kite strong ones. (i used ground slam but there are tons of great single target spells)
8. curces never expire - they are vital for this build u can have 2. one of them are Enfeeble.
9. u never miss your atack - so no need of dex or accuracy (allso no crit... cry)

I am like 32-34 lvl now, works great. 60% of damage(if not more) are because of Molten shell and Tempest Shield. They work perfect.

What one handed weapon you use?
scepters (they count as mace) because of skill req. and +elemental damage mod

this will put u around lvl 70

skills I (will) use witht this
lightning strike as main crowd clearing(can be used at range too if required)(lesser multiple projectiles; chain/fork; weapon ele dmg)
elemental hit for single targets (once I find/trade one)(weapon ele dmg)
molten shell helps as well but in bigger groups it might explode fast and isnt rly practical to cast it in the midst of a pack with its casttime

took eldritch battery for a bigger mana pool to support more auras
wrath & anger are cheap to maintain (specially with EB)
tempest shield and purity(have yet to get this) for main % based auras

reduced reserved cost nodes (and possibly reduced mana cost support gem(s)) should leave enough mana for skilluse (manaleech) or possibly another aura or two

took 2% shield block passives to support tempest shield and to fill in for lack of energy shield
picked up the bigger dex/accuracy nodes, so I wouldnt need RT to hit and thus keep critchance for more shockprocs

further points could be spent in the mace group nearest to the witch starting area for galvanic hammer(weapon elemental dmg) or more life nodes close to current path for more survivability or wherever else u see fit

this is just what I have planned on my witch; have yet to see how this will work for myself
