Guild Emblem / Flag / Symbol / Mark
It would be cool to create some sort of flag or "symbol" for guild.

I dont care much for this. but i do like the idea. I really liked the emblem system for cod black ops. saw some very creative things made out of random shapes.

;) It is a good idea, but to avoid various genital emblemes (as prominently featured in CoD or BF ^^) the shapes and sizes would need to be very restrictive. It could work if it was like OP suggested: one background layer, one symbol layer, a color for each, but no way to rotate or arrange things in any sort of way. |

Like I said in a reply to you in my thread, if I knew something like this was in GGG's interest, I would have designed a system like this myself long ago (a lot cleaner, too.) However, something like this not only looks like a direct Copy / Paste from games like Guild Wars, but it's very unfitting for Path of Exile (or any ARPG).
This kind of system is strictly unique to MMORPGs. PoE already has too many similarities to other games, so why add even more? -1 for the following reasons: 1. You didn't think the idea through enough to illustrate where the Emblem System is going to go within the Social Panel or Guild Tab. 2. The illustration poorly draws people in and needs much improvement to be convincing that something like this would be good to implement into PoE. 3. Even with all the improvements, a system like this doesn't fit PoE at all, and it's the farthest thing from GGG's mind. If it wasn't, it would be talked about by the developers and more PoE users. When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails. Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.
