PoE crashing

Hello, i have troubles with PoE crashing mostly when i am in a group and someone uses spells like discharge, then my fps drops and sometimes game crashes after that. However sometimes it happens also when playing solo and there is too much enemies with multiple projectiles for example, this does not happen so often though. When i am in town it never happens. Today after crash the game showed error for the first time, normally it says only that Program Path of Exile stopped working. I also have DXdiag and CPU temperature files saved but i dont know how to attach them here, because theyre too long to copy and paste.

Do you happen to have a Raise Spectre gem linked to a Trigger "Cast on" gem?
No, i am playing Phys Wander, so there cant be any issue with that in my opinion.

You can use something like PasteBin to link your dxdiag data, etc.

My guess is probably video driver, but it's hard to say without more information.

Also I see you're using Steam.. have you re-verified your cache/installation of Path of Exile to make sure nothing is corrupted?
This is dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/kKwiSYG1
EDIT: i verified game cache and there is no problem.
Also my PC runs games like Skyrim or ME3 smoothly with no crashes, i just cant understand why it happens to PoE, i even changes texutres to medium and then it wasnt crashing so often but still it happens. Just now it happened with discharger in party, but it happens not only with discharge

whoa... holy old video driver batman!

You need to get that thing updated. It's from 2010.

Try updating the driver and see if you still have issues.
To add to Drakier's reply, I see that even though you're running on Windows 7 64-bit, you have 4 GB system RAM. Once you've updated your video and sound drivers, you may want to add switches to your PoE command line.

Adding switches
For Standalone Client on 64-bit systems

  • Right-click on your PoE shortcut.
  • Click "Properties".
  • On the "Shortcut" tab, change the "Target:" field to:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\PathOfExile.exe" -gc 2 -swa

For Steam users

Add -gc 2 -swa to your Launch Options.

You may also want to check to see if there are any updated drivers for your network adapter.

This is good news! I believe I can speak for Drakier when I say, we're glad we could help.
