[1.0.5] Conduit Bow Witch (Challenge/Theorycrafting)
So, the past few days I've been browsing the fora for a Conduit Witch build, replying to various threads, but without much succes. There don't seem to be any release/1.0.5. Conduit builds out there and other builds seem almost impossible to reroute effectively.
I know the general consensus seems to be that Conduit isn't that great a keystone since it does absolutely nothing for the user, but if you're constantly running in a party with e.g. two (non-RT) Infernal Blow Marauders, sharing those (Power) Charges just grants an insane boost to team DPS. It has been suggested to use Lochtonial Caress instead, which I do happen to allready have in my inventory, but that's simply not an option. I want to have Conduit tied permanently to my character. The Witch is perfectly situated on the passives tree to grab the Conduit, along with a bunch of ES nodes directly left of it. To prevent further replies breaking down what this build should be about, I made this separate thread for theorycrafting following three absolutely fixed parameters: - Character has to be a Witch - Character has to take the Conduit keystone - Character has to use a bow The rest, as far as I am concerned, is still completely blank. Below is a link to a "perfect" 120 points passives tree. This is simply what I could come up with, but feel free to shoot it down completely. I deliberately build it at the full 120 points because that makes it easier to deconstruct. Rewrite it completely or start from scratch, I don't care. Any ideas are welcome, as long as they adhere to the three conditions set above. It's simply there to give us something to start from, even if it would turn out to be a wrong start. It must be noted that this very loose concept build also intends to take full advantage of the Witch's mana pool with Lightning Arrow, and has taken all six avaible power charge nodes. While I personally think Power Charges are the most logical choice for a Conduit Witch, LA is just a wild idea. Again, feel free to shoot it down. Now, 3, 2, 1,.. GO! |

Hi . I am not that good as far a Theory crafting but if you take Vaal pact remove Zealot, the first one will cancel the other one. I understand your meaning for 120 points but it is better have a grasp of 90 points first as a core and you spice up with the rest if manage to do enough good maps to reach the 100 lvl...
This build may need more DEX for high end bow and DEX gem to support LA. I also like Conduit, I take it in my Scion if I travel to the north-east of the tree but I am affray of the party members that consume to much mana because I give them frenzy (for example) if they don't have a way to get mana leach. |
