Super Saiyan- Blood Rage -Righteous fire[DOM] level 88 with vids UPDATED FOR 1.2

Hi guys, sorry for my english, I'm French

I wanted to make a melee char who use righteous fire with less than 10 exalted orbs.I made it with a lot of defences on the passive tree, you can overcap all res easy and keep focus on life and chaos res on gear. you can sustain righteous fire at level 65 with the rise of the phoenix unique shield if you got enough regen passives on the tree.

pros
- you do tons of damage with only defence stats on the tree, that's making you quite tanky.

- you can finaly find a use for curse on hit gem.

- righteous fire give you a verry nice looking aura.

- if you take righteous fire off you became almost invicible.

- some maps mods are verry easy for you,reflect and extra damage and you can do ele weakness vulnerability too.

- revenge against desync !

cons
- you cannot do some maps mods solo but if you have a team you can do all map mod but you will not dps in map like : - to max all resistances,blood magic, no life regen, half regen.

- Totems are you worst enemy.

- some necros can curse you with vulnerability, ele weakness,flammability, can be hard depens on your res on gear and map mods.

- Elemental equilibrium can be a problem in a party with hatred aura guys you fuck their dps, in party with an anger aura guys your dps is fucked.

0.9 * life * (1- 0.87) = 11.7% life/sec

your tree has 10.8% life regen

you should be able to do it.

cap + elemental adaptation + rise of phoenix + purity of fire (level 20)

75 + 2 + 8 + 4 = 89

Since there is no aura buff in your tree the purity of fire _must_ be level 20. So level 19 if you are using Geofri's crest.

I'm more interested in how much accuracy you have. Since you do not take RT, is your flicker strike effective ??

This build looks like it is perfectly viable starting from either the marauder or duelist tree. Is that right ?

Since you always have RF on and it gives 58% more spell dmg, why not use a spell like EK instead of flicker strike?

Answer is easy, flicker gives you more mobility.

Answering my own question, it _is_ better to start from Scion.

You can absolutely do it from Mara or Duelist but you are restricted as to when you can pick up nodes because you have to "escape" those areas which would make it very annoying to level.

Tempest shield might be a neat addition to synergize with the added spell damage from RF. Wouldn't it be nice if you could shock your opponents while they are trapped in your RF aura !

As for flicker strike - it's a freaking brilliant idea. Especially when in the middle of a mob doing heavy damage to everything around you via RF you will be able to collect frenzy charges very easily, and flicker has 125% base damage modifier on attack damage. Very important since the tree has almost no melee damage nodes.

I wonder if you could even use blood rage which would just about guarantee you serious frenzy charge up-time. Frenzy charges work so well with this build it seems like it would be worth picking up the extra frenzy charge node in the duelist area.

The more i look at this build the more i love it !
