skill point from Bestel

Hi i finieshed act 1 and I am in act 2. Today I randomly back to act 1 city and Bestel gave me free skill point. Is it a bug or reward for some quest from act 2 or i just skipped it in act 1?

There was a skill point reward for clearing the path in act 2 western forest, which you had to go back to Bestel to get.

Good guy Bestel. Only rewards you for 3 quests; 2 are skill points. 1 requires almost zero effort.
