Show stat changes when comparing items

I think when you hold the Alt key to compare items, there should be red and green numbers showing the decrease or increase in stats respectively. For example, when you have an iron helmet with 9 armor and 1 red socket and you compare it with a circlet with 10 spirit shield, 7 evasion rating, 1 green socket, and 1 blue socket, it would show:
Spoiler
-9 Armor
+10 Spirit Shield
+7 Evasion rating
-1 Red Socket
+1 Green Socket
+1 Blue socket

It may be easier to only show +/- for stats like armor, damage, etc. but not sockets. Anything would be helpful.

Thanks for the fantastic game!

I haven't played the game yet, but would really like to see this.
I think the idea originates from Diablo 3.

However, this is not suitable for Path of Exile for the following reason.

The itemization in Path of Exile is so diverse that it is not easy to compare them.

For example,

Helm 1:
52% increased Armor
+13 strength
2 life regenerated per second
18% increased quantity of items found
2 linked sockets (green-blue)

Helm 2:
+63 to accuracy rating
23% cold resistance
17% lightning resistance
+34 to maximum life
14% increased rarity of items found
3 linked sockets (red-red-red)

Comparing those wouldn't really be feasible.

The reason this was easy in Diablo 3 was because the itemization was extremely linear. Every class had a core stat. Any piece of armor would need/have the following: +core stat, +vitality, +all resists, sockets, regen. Any weapon, you wouldn't even care about this. The huge "DPS" field is all that matters (critical hit damage and open socket might help, but dps is the real deal). This made it easy to compare items.
Me too, I really would like to see it. Even if it is from Diablo 3 - which I still play - it is just comfortable and therefore more than usefull. Please add this.

You are right, there's too much stats on PoE. But u could put some basica info and the rest u make the calcs on your head. So i think the system would help, but not solve all your problems for u.
