GGG - Offical Open Beta Update?

It there a official place to find out more about open beta or the future direction of the game? There is now a clock which builds anticipation for the beta. People are talking about and planning their builds for open beta. They are also talking about the balancing issues they would like to see addressed before the beta, primarily between ranged and melee, as well as crit builds.
But what there has not been is any official updates of what changes we might see, and which we wont until down the road. What the team is working on. The best I could find was half way down on page 6 of the Chris/Kripparrian Q&A after a whole lot of looking. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/60028/page/6 Perhaps a official sticky post is in order that is regularly updated somewhere with current things we can expect in future patching and what perhaps what their focus is for the "next" patch. -BB This thread has been automatically archived. Open beta will coincide with the release of patch 0.10.0, patch notes aren't available yet but mostly what we'll be seeing is act 3 and enhanced sever stability.
Everything else will then be released in sequential patches like there has been in closed beta with an expansion to act 3 called internally by devs act3x coming several months later. Oh and they are releasing a bunch of stuff for the microtransaction store I have extra beta keys and I'm not giving them out

Open Beta is just that - soft release but still beta. Act 3 is ready to go but there is still going to be LOADS of things they work out with the (hopefully) increased server capacity. They will get to all the balancing, kinks etc slowly but surely as time goes and before they RELEASE the game it will be probably the best thing any of us have ever seen ... team of 18 people, completely in house self funded until April 2012 - i would say they have this game going exactly where it needs to go.
