Mind drinker for mana.

Like Pantherz said, I only use 2% mana leech from the Mind Drinker node. Because you output so much physical damage you will hit the mana leech cap easily and will always be able to sustain while attacking. Sometimes you're desynced and spam mana into thin air so I carry around a hybrid flask to refill if needed.

what do u think about that CwDT setup ?(eva version build):
"CwDT 15lvl + immortal call 15lvl + enduring cry 15lvl +enfeeble 15lvl\inc duration 15lvl - all gems are lvl req <60"
in theory when our shield block\evasion fails we take ~2000k dmg = ~half of our pool(~4.5k), and then we get ~2.5-3secs of IC from 4 endur charges (15lvl IC+EC+ID), or some extra accuracy/damage debuff for surrounded enemies from enfeeble, which is should be enough to refill our hp pull from LL\flasks\whatever and continue killing packs
sry for my english

Quick question: Is it necessary to use flicker strike? You labeled it as an "opening attack". Could you elaborate more?

I found that my CwDT didn't proc much when I swapped to Acrobatics, so I wouldn't want to make it proc less by having to take more damage first. Well, test it out and see what you prefer, but personally I'd rather a lvl4 CwDT with the lesser buffs; this helps keep Endurance Charges up for most of the map.

You don't have to use Flicker if you would rather use that 4L for something else. I use it to jump into the front of a pack of monsters and the start Reaving, it's my opening attack and quite often 1 shots packs of monsters with a crit. I think you'll see it a lot in the Coves map video.
It's good for mobility and a lot of fun.

Got a lvl 70 ranger, and absolutely love the build. Got 6k dps, 2700HP and 75% all res. Should i just get some more HP nodes now? =)
I just wanted to say thanks, this is a really cool guide and a really fun spec.
I've been using it in the one week, it performs very well in a party as well as on its own. Reave is actually a really fun skill to use, and with shift you can use it as a ranged attack if you have some stacks. Some very cool stuff, thanks again!

Yeah the next few levels focus on getting all the life nodes on the tree, and also try and get as high life as possible on your gear slots. High life is very important for maps, you have high block but if attacks get past your shield you could get 1shot with that low hp.
Then once your life is 4,000+ get crit nodes like Nightstalker etc to boost your damage to crazy amounts.

Good to know it;s working out for you in the one week, sometimes you can get unlucky and have nothing useful drop. Good luck in race.
