[Probird #15 Domination][Ninja Bird Build] Dual strike 52k DPS - 6000 life 12 ap/s + VIDEOS

Ninja Bird Build

This build is based on clearing extremely fast high dps + survivability. Leap slam is used to move arround fast. Currently I am level 96 and haven't died many times when i knew the basics. It's based on the uniques: Soul taker & Bringer of rain. I have killed all the bosses in any map. The build is also able to counter reflect. The build is also able to kill piety in the 77 map and also the boss in Crematorium with -max resist. Bringer of rain will also make enemies blinded, but it won't work if you have Unwavering Stance. This build is also viable in hardcore / nemesis you will have less attack and attack speed and more life. I'm currently running this build, if you want to go for more dmg take the attack speed noddes near scion and go upto the nodes at shadow (doing this you will lose alot of life but gain dmg and atk speed)

Pro's

#Able to kill every boss in the game
#Very good for farming (fast clearing)
#Alot of avoidance and doens't get hit alot because you kill that fast.
#Not hard to play
#Not relying on mana when you got soultaker!

Con's

#Need to swap gear for some of the bosses
#You need to get alot of resist gear (because you can't use a body armour

Things you should be carefull with

#Voidbearer with multiple projectiles can hurt and burn you to the ground in a few seconds, so when encountering a multiple projectile map i mostly bring a Ruby flask!
#Vaal smash - You can get 1 hit by this attack
#Academy boss - The boss spawns many tornado's when encountering him with melee
#Dominus - All his abilities can hurt alot try to avoid this boss if you dont have a perm freezer.
#triple or double reflect - Don't hold your attack button down only when you have a granite flask activated and use life leech + double armour aura you will be able to tank it.
#Desync! This is a killer use a /oos macro when you find yourself out of sync

Normal
help oak = 40 base life
Cruel
help oak= 18% physical damage / help kraityn = 8% attack speed
Merciless
Help oak = 1 endurance charge / If you dont like the endurance charge you can kill all the bandits in merciless (like I did). Although for hardcore endurance charge would be better.

Gems

Cast when damage taken + decoy totem + molten shell + life leech (you can level life leech to lvl 20)
Faster attacks + leap slam+ purity of fire / determination (you can swap leap slam out with reduce mana when you need to use one of the auras)
Cast when damage taken + Enduring Cry + enfeeble
Haste + Hatred + Grace + reduced mana

In the bringer of rain:
Multistrike - dual strike - added fire damage - melee splash

You can also use a tabula to level 6 gems in but you can't use them

Leveling

For leveling I suggest using cleave untill you can use multistrike + melee splash + dual strike + added fire (or life leech / blood magic if you got good gear or a 5link) the wurms molt belt or using blood magic untill you have soul taker. With blood magic gem you will be able to run auras


Tips & Tricks:

When facing physical reflect:
Use grace + Determination instead of the dps auras and swap added fire gem with life leech. Use a granite flask with + armour roll when facing big packs of mobs or dual reflect.

Countering bleeds + puntcure:

Using an instant potion with remove bleeding to remove bleeding.

Countering shock stacks:

Using an instant potion with remove shock.

Countering beeing frozen:

Using an instant potion with remove frozen.

Handeling elemental weakness:

Always try to have 40% over resistance or use an item to swap to fix the missing resistances: I am using another pair of gloves(listed below) to fix my resistance on ele weakness so I just use these gloves when the map has elemental weakness curse.

Killing piety in 77 Shrine:

When you have enough int you could run purity of lightning aura + hatred to add extra lightning resists and I suggest using saffell's farme branded kite shield + stone of lazhwar lapis amulet to increase block chance to spells and max resist. You will have to swap dual strike with double strike. Also use a Topaz flask to increase maximum lightning resistance.

Killing 76 map crematorium boss:

Use purity of fire + hatred and saffell's frame + stone of lashwar to increase your max fire res. Swap dual strike with dou8ble strike. Also use a ruby flask to increase maximum fire resistance.

Killing the 3 bosses in Courtyard 78 map
These 3 bosses need to be kited for this build, swap dual strike with LMP and swap melee splash with lightning strike. This way you can kite the bosses and you don't have to go near them to hit them with your lightning strike

Grace+ Determation + 4 enduring charges (with granite armour is even higher)
With these auras I have 39260 dps and 5400 life

Hatred + haste 52k dps and 5400 life

With hatred + grace I have 49086 dps and 5400 life

Saffels frame + stone of lazhwar (resistances) + purity of fire and hatred with double strike:
83% fire resistances 93% when using ruby flask and 25000 double strike dps and 5200 life

Dumb question but...

How necessary is the soul taker for this build? Any way around not using it? I can get my hands on a bringer pretty easily but the Soul Taker is another matter :)

I wanna try this. I've only played magic/range characters so far, so i have no idea what the base prices are for soul taker etc.

Basicly my question is, how much would i need to spend~ in order to get all the required items (not talking about the yellows, but about the neccesary items like soul taker/bringer of rain etc)
