Out of my league?

Me and my friend are playing this game as he, a level 17 templar, and I, a level 16 witch. We are both in the standard league (we know this as we've both died). However, it keeps telling us that we're out of each others league (and we apparently know it).

Which one of you have just started?
This is usualy a case of someone being in standard and their friend being new getting put into the new 4 month standard league(domination) Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

My friend just started. I'll have to ask him about that. Is there anyway to change what league your character is in?

You will need to create a character in the same league as you friend to be able to play with them.
