Chris: ALT-F4 LEGIT STRAT

I actually laughed at "pantless too.
But if allowed to show, i saw the reason why its a pantless day (game), just look where this lovely game is responsible for, this happens with our women who play this FTW GGG-Game;

Before, I'd eat the occasional death soloing, and it kept my on my toes. But those deaths would almost always be me getting trapped in a corner, or frozen or stunned, that sort of thing. It made getting frozen / stunned / trapped exciting.

Chris didn't say players were supposed to use it. He didn't say players should use it. He said it is accepted that players can use it. These are not equivalent statements.

Saying it is silly not to use a game function is silly. Saying something silly is silly is silly, etc.

Sporker is easy and acceptable no? Does that mean it would be silly not to be a sporker?

Playing standard instead of hardcore is acceptable. Does that mean it is silly to risk death and play hardcore?

People jump out of perfectly good airplanes for fun, while most will ALT+F4 their way safely seat-belted until the plane lands.

Some people like more challenge than others. Some people will take the path of least resistance every time.

The path players choose will determine how much they enjoy their journey.

Chris is saying that by allowing ALT+F4 they can have more choices.

People need to stop worrying about how others play and enjoy their own game.

Those that think they are up for every challenge should play hardcore with their monitor turned off.

Personally, I doubt someone who is worrying about Alt+F4 is up for the monitor off challenge. People just want challenges that meet their own personal level of acceptance.

Chris is saying in a few words they could have "blind" levels (or something equally sinister) if they wanted because players could escape them.

No one is Forcing anyone to use Alt+F4. If a player is saying that they would use Alt+F4 o because others might be doing so and they could lose a competitive edge..., than I find their rationalization no more legitimate than someone who only claims to use a maphack when it would take them too long to find an area's exit.

GGG's stated stance, really does allow them to make the game tougher. It isn't a trick statement.

What about the people who disconnect sometimes? Getting a "random disconnection error" and then getting back to see that you died is frustrating, especially at higher lvls. Is there any way to make the disconnect more instant like alt+f4?

You all just don't understand the real utility of fast exiting a game.

Who played D3 of you sirs? i bet no one, in D3 there is a timer for exit of 10 seconds in ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. And for any circumstance, i refer to massive lag too.

Just go on D3 forums and watch all lag death, right there, once you lag (both client or server side) for more than 3 seconds, you are DEAD and you cannot defend yourself in any way, in ANY FUKKING WAY

Now please tell me both HC and SC players: do you want a 10 second timer on exit, forcing you to die by any lag (desync too), or you prefer a fast exit and avoid lag deaths?

I just can't imagine the uber QQing on these forums if a 10 sec timer is implemented: "OMG OMG i lag died fu GGG i want my pg back it's ur fault QQ QQ"

Think about it in a HC mentality maybe, i lost 2 times a PG in D3 due to lag, and i was fuking upset, i don't wanna lose other chars here for lag too.

i play softcore because i find it fun to jump into the center of hordes often... its just how i play... i died 1512 times on my lvl 80 guy, cause its fun...

hardcore is lame, not dying is lame... alt+f4 is wuss style
