Town portal while in a Map

Can a town portal be used while in a map? Will it return you to the map or do you have to return to the eternal lab via the permanent town portal then use one of the six original portals to re-enter the map?

When you use a portal scroll on a map, the portal you entered the map from is simply moved to you current location.
You can then leave the map to get back to the laboratory, and to get back in the map, you have to use another one of the 6 portals.

The idea of the maps portals is that each portal (in the laboratory) can only be used once.

So if you are soloing a map, you can go back to town 5 times after starting the map.

If you are partying, then it will be less, depending on the amount of people partying.

The portal created at the start of the map will be moved to your location when you create a new portal. This is so there is only one portal on the map at a time.
