Wand Elemental Hit Projectile Delay & Weapon Swapping Annoyance.

That's my recorded video for the two possible bugs.


1) Wand Projectiles with Elemental Hit seems to take 1-2 seconds to land a "hit", where as last version wasn't.

2) Swapping weapons constantly shows up an error saying left mouse button has no skill bound.

I have noticed this too. And it's only with elemental hit on wand. Power siphon work normal as it is before patch

oh yeah... I noticed this too, but because I was playing solo I almost exclusively used power siphon so didn't notice it as much. It's really bizzare and annoying.


On another note, have any of you wanders gotten disconnected while using power siphon? It's a major problem I'm getting right now, check out my bug post if you want.

Elemental hit with ranged weapons was missing a function call to tell the client to apply to damage package. This is fixed ans should make it to beta with the next small patch, I expect.

Nice to see a fix so quickly. I had mentioned this in game, and must have phrased it wrong, as Chris simply stated it was bc of the change to projectiles; Sounding as though it was intended.

Being that I use Elemental Hit as my Default Attack on my Witch, I am very pleased to see this corrected.

I am getting delayed damage for frenzy with wands. I am also seeing the crash on Power Siphon w/ pierce

Not intended so much as unavoidable. It is a known and inescapable consequence of the projectile system that we can't predict what a projectile will hit until it does, meaning damage can't be sent in advance and thus needs to be sent from the server at the time of the hit - thus latency spikes can cause this damage to be delayed. I suspect he took this to be the culprit, which is understandable given the circumstances.
Frenzy still has a delay and it's not a lag delay. I suspect whatever was previously affecting elemental hit is the same thing at work here.
I can confirm frenzy does not have the problem that elemental hit had. Is anyone else noticing a delay on Frenzy? I'll see if Rory can replicate this.
Frenzy seems to have the same delay that regular projectiles do!
