There are a couple paths you can take along the way to Marauder to pick up Unwavering Stance.

Option 1
-2% Physical Life Leech


Option 2
- Easy access to 6% all resists node


Both builds are done with 103 points and cover all the important stuff. There are plenty of 10% physical, 30 Int, or what ever else nodes you may need along the path.

For this build, you use Dual Strike.

- Dual Strike is designed for dual wielders and attacks with both weapons at the same time.

- Double Strike attacks with primary melee weapon two times. Works 'best' with two-handers or people using only one melee weapon.

So I'm 83 on Domination, got a BoR, build is working very nicely! At 4.5k HP, 4.5k Armor, 77/75/73/-31 Resists, 245 Life Regen. 18.37k dps in town. ~24k with Hatred+Blood Rage

Only issue I really have is mana, go oom very fast in maps and 2% leech on gear isn't enough for me for single-target such as bosses. Obviously one solution is Soul Taker, but they are extremely rare in Domination currently. On 50% regen maps I'm forced to swap out Added Fire to Blood Magic just to keep up on the dps, and end up losing ~5k dps on Dual Strike. Any other solutions besides Soul Taker or getting more Mana Leech on gear (besides the 2% I have)?

I'm finishing off that Attack Speed Berserking circle at 85. After that I'm torn on whether to focus on those 3 Armor nodes at the Marauder starter wheel, the 4 Armor node circle above that on the right, +1 Frenzy Charge in Duelist, +1 Endurance Charge in Duelist, and the 3rd Armor & Evasion node next to Leather & Steel.

I don't know if there are any true solutions to this problem other than the Soul Taker. If bosses are about the only thing giving you trouble, you could take a second to run and remove the Melee Splash gem before you fight them. It'll be a pain, but it could be enough to keep the mana up. Could Get a Clarity gem to use just on those maps, maybe drop Hatred and just go for simplicity.

As far as future nodes to get, its really up in the air. In the short term, there are plenty of little attack speed and physical damage nodes to get. There are also five 5% reduced skill cost nodes (pretty lame, but a permanent solution to the problem). Long term it is hard to say. Most of the good things from the duelist/ranger are already taken. You could go for the long haul and head north to the shadow's tree. Though.. you'd probably spend more points on stupid stuff getting there then the over all bonus on small buffs near what you have. I keep looking, and I'm not seeing much. Lots of stuff 10 levels away, but that is kinda crazy talk right now. Better to get small stuff, then refund points to get what you want.

Additional Frenzy charges seems pretty pointless to me. They only provide 4% attack speed, which the dualist tree is abundant with and are always active.

Ah yes I forgot about those 4% AS nodes. That's a good point for not going to the Frenzy Charge.

Thinking more about it, will most likely head towards Armour Mastery first, then the 8% Ar/Eva node, then the 4 10% armor nodes. After that start picking up the small 4% AS, and 10% phys nodes that are very close by, and forego going to the + 1 Endurance Charge, just depends how tanky I will be in the higher maps. Only thing that could kill me in 70/71's currently is just stupid play (ala Lightning Thorns) D:

Holy shit this is so fun. Started my first Domination character with this build. Level 28, beat Vaal, all in under 4 hours. Super fast and a ton of fun :D.

Small suggestion: Take the southern way around to Resolute Technique, that'll give you access to the two 12% 1-hand/6% life nodes.

I started as a Marauder instead and while it is a bit slower at first (quite a bit) you almost never come even close to dying. With going after proper +HP and +Resist gear as leveling and working towards capping my resists I have to say that I have pretty much been able to face tank everything in the game up till about Merciless with no real issue.

Duelist I noticed I had some problems earlier on once my huge Dex boost wore out and I started missing without Resolute Technique where as the Marauder never had that issue. Also not having Evasion or Blind can be extremely painful when I went Iron Reflexes early on with the Duelist.

Some "cheapo" items for leveling this build I found while playing and have found extremely useful were:



Both have huge HP/MP leech which once my damage went up a bit I basically could spam Dual Strike forever.

Gem wise Multistrike is colossal for Dual Strike. It's a night and day difference and lets me get away with only having 37 mana (even tho Dual costs 32) cause by the time the animation is done I've leached back enough to keep going.

Again great guide and recommend Marauder for Hardcore version!

Anyone tested using Immortal Call + Increased Duration with a lvled 'Cast on damage taken' gem? Know this build basicly only dies with one hits late game but should be worth it if you have the gem slots.

EDIT. nvm think its better to have the phys damage reduction up from Enduring Cry up all the time.
