Can someone say if this build still works well with the recent changes to Soul Taker? Does the lowering of Soul Takers damage make it less viable?

Why would one not need Soul Taker? It's crucial for the DPS.

Becouse you can use blood magic gem or with good mana leach and room in mana.
I was doing very good before Soul Taker, now its just I dont care about cost of skill effect

I'm just looking on the wiki since I don't own one in game, but the damage seems to have been reduced by quite a bit on them, so I wasn't sure if the ability to constantly spam skills would make up for having a weapon that has a lower dps.

Again I'm just going by what's on the wiki and am new to this build so I don't know, I was just curious.

I don't have a soul taker, and I clear maps just fine.

why dont we take vaal pact? it seems to me with this much attack speed we can heal 100% every sec
also. i guess people asked this before. but bringer of rain is super expensive. like really really
does this work without it?
