Okay, I'll take the unpleasant stance and say that totems firing physical arrows when they aren't themselves wielding bows is about as silly to me as a Totem supporting Cleave producing bright arcs of bladed death. Wait, can they?

Poison Arrow Totem seems fine to me, I mean you can get really ridiculous already with totems, i.e. Frost Wall Totem. I can just see some of the hilarious stuff that will come in PvP when you drop one of those town on a melee user whom may not have any form of gap closer in their build.

Well sorry but in this case im anything but happy with what the changes SEEM to be.
(before having experienced them for myself ingame that is so that MIGHT be temporary). But from what I READ now, people will be able to dodge arrows fairly easy, which pretty much sounds to me like taking away the last big advantage/positive for a bow ranger full evasion build such as mine. I could live with how *cough* evasion seems to be atm. for a while, but then had no choice at some point but taking IR to even get forward in the game. FAIL.... Ok, so my defense is rather lousy due to certain game mechanics. But now making the offense "weaker" on top of that seems just a bit too much for me. Going to have a full check on it myself of coure asap but i doubt I will want to stick to my current toon anymore. As a result ill start the app. 200.000th everyonehasone icewitch.... BOOORING FAIL... kinda off topic i spent about all my orbs and some gear on picking up the best chin sol i could find and hey i got screwed over again (close range doesnt work) so once again FAIL Thats 3 total failures along the way just on 1 char. If this wasnt a beta, id get my money back and bb it would be. In this case, ill just keep hoping it wont turn out as bad as is sounds, seeing how ggg has been able to make me happy with the game so far. I hope this works in practice, because it is a needed function. Looking forward to test it, if it goes through alpha.

The most important question of all:
Does this mean that ranged attacks now follow the same hitscan rules as projectile spells and - provided they come into contact with a target - can no longer artificially miss? IRON MAN

" +1 on the sillyness for totem firing arrows. But you can bet GGG going balance it out, by not including the Bow dps on the totem. However, it will enhance the current way the game is being played. There will be changes. Hopefully it doesn't affect the Tree. FYI: I just wish GGG could throw us more active skill gems instead. My wild guess:- the game with full party is going to get more laggy. Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.
