Soul Siphon Passive

Does the Soul Siphon passive skill give you mana only when your character kills an enemy or also when your minions kill an enemy?

Your minions don't get your passives, you do. Your "minion" passives influence your minions, but not your minion's minions (this is relevant in A3...). I have not tried soul siphon with minions, but under this principle, it should not work.
