Limiting time between posts in trade channel?

I'm sure this has been brought up previously but just wanted to add on and see if GGG has any plans to implement a timer between your posts in trade chat?

1 post every 15, 20 or 30 seconds would help alleviate a lot of the clutter in the chat, obviously mostly from the people who spam their posts repeatedly.

Virtually every time I go into trade chat, I see two or three people spamming just to make sure theirs show at the bottom.

- People are competetive.
- Barter, is by far, the most critical aspect of this game.
- Of COURSE people will do anything and everything to try to make it work for them.

If they did what you said people would just use 3 or 4 accounts rather than 1.

I think this is a brilliant idea! I get tired of seeing people spam the same thing line for line. I'll repeat every few seconds out of courtesy to other traders, and I wish more people were like that, but then, in this game, I don't see much in the way of manners or courtesy. :\ Guess that goes for everything, these days. I still cringe when I see "TP" instead of "TP please" or even "TP plz"; I ignore people that won't even incorporate basic manners into a freakin' computer game. Sorry for the mini-rant. :P

I really don't see how bartering has anything to do with spamming trade chat, since bartering and such is done via PM or party chat. I'd be quite surprised if people went to the hassle of making different accounts, and loading them all up (how?) purely for the sake of advertising some pixels, and furthermore, it would still lessen the spam, thus serving a purpose.

I dunno. What exactly is it that people are doing in trade chat then.. reciting nursery rhymes? What are all those WTS/WTB things if not the opening lines for barter?

Trouble? You can create an account with a few clicks. You can load up several in a variety of ways. What do you think all the multiboxers are doing?

Which is, by far, the single most important thing to do in this game. So I don't understand why you'd be surprised at such behavior. People multibox leveling. Why wouldn't the do the same trading when trading is so much more critical?
