[THE CHARACTER IS NOT EVEN NEARLY FINISHED] Feels 2.0, Diamond flask archer
REMAKING THIS INTO A GUIDE WHEN I FINISH THE CHARACTER

It should be able to easily reach 3.7k HP, so don't worry about that, it's at least good for softcore :P. It's still glass cannon as fuck and the reflect problem is still there, so I've decided to still take vaal pact. I take split arrow mainly cause I just can't afford to lose a support gem to LMP. Chain is pretty shitty right now (please buff this piece of shit and nerf LA, nice please), but I'm still going to use it, mainly since it's pretty nice for shock stacking, and the crits should be able to shock stack pretty much anything. So, it keeps pretty much all the main components of the feels build - Diamond flasks, vaal pact, blood magic keystone, split arrow. Of course, it's a little bit harder to do than the original feels buiild, since diamond flasks are nerfed hard, but I'll still use 3 of them to get power charges easily. The problem is that now you have to get crit chance, so the bow will have to have a local crit increase, and the quiver and amulet should have global crit. After that, it'll have less multiplier than the feels build, so I'll have to get some of that on gear. Maligaro's will probably be a must. I also have to get crit chance from nodes, but we get a lot more points AND levels than in closed beta, so that's not a problem at all. This build needs a 5l, 6l if you want faster attacks. Links - Split Arrow-Chain-Life Leech-WED-PCoC. I doubt I could even call it a crit build without the power charges. It seems like it needs really specific gear, but it's not really that bad if you think about it, crit is needed, ele damage is nice, flask recovery on your belt is nice, but they're not mandatory. Crit bow is overall hard to build and you'll have to invest into it more than some RT LA shit with static blows, but I am pretty damn sure this will deal way more dps. Okay, now to the whole idea of how to remake the feels build nicely. With some crit gear and a 6% crit bow, you should be able to crit around 45% of the time, which is very constant. With diamond flasks, this will become even more, so you should get at least a couple of assured crits, keeping up them powercharges and shock stacking all the enemies. If they don't die from the first crit, they will probably die from the next hit, even if it's not a crit. That's what chain should do for you, and that's the only reason I still pick it over pierce/faster attacks (and the fact that it'll hit enemies that get behind you I guess. A 6l would be nice as hell for faster attacks, and I'm eventually going to buy one when they get a bit cheaper on anarchy, but a 5l will do just fine. Okay, I lied, the real purpose of this build is......

ICESPLOSIONS
Feels' demonstration of the most amazing shit everhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKmutYDACpg No, seriously, look at the clear time, I'll be happy if I come close to that. Indoor maps will still be annoying as fuck, chaos over time will still be annoying as fuck, burning ground will still be annoying as fuck, sometimes rhoas will be annoying as fuck. Edit: Let me list the advantages this has over the feels build now, because so far, it seemed like a worse version of it because old diamond flasks were OP, as well as chain being way better. - More life (still possible to grab 42% life) - Way more accuracy - Does way better damage when flasks run out - Arcing Blows (Which only balances out the fact that I take 3 less weapon ele nodes, lol) - Fuck, that's not a whole lot. Whatever, this should be fun. IF YOU SEE ANY WAY TO SAVE POINTS OR MAKE THE BUILD BETTER, TELL ME. PLEASE NO BIG CHANGES LIKE USING 5 DIAMOND FLASKS. Go CI, use phys and hatred, you get way more crit/life.

I'm trying to recreate the build more or less, and I doubt I'd be able to sustain the amount of mana Split arrow+Chain+WED costs without blood magic.
edit: Just tried to make a CI build, it'd suck. Old april 2012 account got stolen Last edited by Freeslana on Jun 23, 2013, 3:22:21 PM

It wouldn't leech enough for chain.
Also too many points spent, no accuracy. I just don't want to go CI physical. Old april 2012 account got stolen Last edited by Freeslana on Jun 24, 2013, 6:05:35 AM

How's the build so far, without the flasks? It looks really interesting xD I kind of want to try it out on the new leagues, when the flasks come out of course.

" Leveling with ele cleave so far, so not much, haven't played a whole lot. I might actually stop leveling it for now, I honestly hate the thought of leveling with ele cleave till lvl ~55 like I had to do with my LA totem templar. I will probably make a magic find character and then do this, it's no fun making a crit bow build with only like 15gcp to use on gear, it can get really expensive to make this efficient. edit: nvm, resuming this char in 2 days.
