Diamond flask: Simple Calculations for All

Saw that there were some misconceptions on what the Diamond Flask does for crit in the forums. Unfortunately, it doesn't double the chance of critting, but it still is pretty cool.

I'm sure most are already aware of this, but I've done a simple calc below for any other who want a quick reference.

Long story short:

1. the lower your base crit (as long as it's not zero), the higher the percentage increase when you use a diamond flask.

2. the actual increase in crit chance due to the diamond flask increases as your base crit chance increases, until you reach a base chance of 50% after which it gradually decreases (because more likely than not, you'll get your crit on the first roll, and not the second)

well, i'm not actually trying to teach... just giving them an output of my own calcs. people can choose to use the data if they so wish regardless of whether they want to understand the calculations behind it or not.

He never claimed to be teaching. He is showing results. There are plenty of people in this community who will understand this chart.

I find it very helpful. I am too lazy to carry out these calculations myself and this chart is a great reference.
