What does "Onslaught" actually do

Before smoeone says something about the onslaught league, I am talking specifically about this item, where you gain "onslaught" for 2.0 seconds

^ don't play in onslaught. Figured it was something related to the game name but couldn't find ANY supporting literature anywhere. Which is rather a bad thing for an item. Consecrated ground, etc, had some supporting information at least
Figured you played in Onslaught. Since....

It's an onslaught item :)

Eventually said items will end up in HC/Default, so was curious about the item

Has someone w/ the ring tested whether these are "more" or "additional" bonuses?

It's probably consistent with the onslaught modifier on enemies, but there are few enough enemies w/ stacking speed bonuses that it's hard to tell how they stack.

since you "gain" it on kill, it's a buff on you.

A second question, what happens if you have two? Do you get Onslaught and a second one on top of it, or Onslaught for 4 seconds, or nothing special?

There are two different ways buffs can stack with other buffs: "more" and "increased." "More" is multiplicative stacking while "increased" is additive stacking - for instance, if you have two buffs that each grant 20% increased attack speed, your attack speed multiplier would be (100+20+20)%, or 140%. If you have two buffs that each grunt 20% more attack speed, your attack speed multiplier would be (120%)*(120%), or 144%.

RabidRabbit was asking whether Onslaught grants "more" or "increased" bonuses.
